DSC_0116 (3)Welcome to my internet hovel. I am Tedd Williamson, the architect of this humble abode. Please make yourself comfortable while you’re here.

Writing is my passion. It grew from a well-cultivated love of literature and reading. I feel that no one can truly be a writer unless they first love reading. There may be those few people out there who will write without reading but they are missing out on the joy of our profession. I write because I adore literature and have a burning need to constantly be a part of it.

I started reading when I was young. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Jules Verne, Shakespeare, G.A. Henty, and Robert Louis Stevenson are the names that carried my childhood forward. Later I developed a strong taste for Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, and H.P. Lovecraft – all of them paragons of our modern fiction world. Most recently my reading has been filled with the names Brandon Sanderson, Patrick Rothfuss, Timothy Zahn, and Robert Jordan. I can often define large sections of my life by what I was reading at the time.

I am currently a freelance writer who is finishing a Professional Writing Degree at Taylor University. I hope to one day be a full-time author of Science Fiction and Fantasy. While I work toward that day I hope to continue freelance writing and become more involved in the publishing industry.

In the meantime, I hope to continue to grow as a writer and a literary citizen. Reading and writing are my passions. I will continue to pursue them no matter where life takes me or what I am doing. Hopefully, if you are reading this, then you are also on a journey of your own. Thanks for taking the time to glance at mine.
